For this project, I worked with my team creating some early concepts of the layout of the sign. With the client wishing for a single sign rather than the proposal of two signs (one for the rules of the trail and one for the thank you landowners).
Once the concept and the style of the sign was established, we set to work generating various designs of possible choices to offer the client a wide array of ideas. As time went on we began to narrow the concepts to just 3 designs, picking and choosing characteristics from previous designs. After the chosen design was made, we were given a few final notes and gave the sign a final touchup in Illustrator.
The sign currently is awaiting to be printed and placed in its new home on Moscow Mountain here in the Palouse! I can not wait to see my group’s sign standing proud next I hike the trails!
